Koul Associates Pty Ltd (ACN 655 573 523) is a Perth-based Australian geotechnical engineering consulting firm.
Together with our associate geotechnical consulting firms, Koul Associates covers a wide range of services across geotechnical engineering works.
On the back of several decades of combined international experience in the geotechnical industry, our senior technical personnel have proven capability to undertake geotechnical engineering and engineering geological consulting for a wide range of civil and mining infrastructure projects.

Bill Koul

Director and Principal Geotechnical Engineer
With over 30 years of experience as a geotechnical engineering professional, Bill’s field of technical expertise includes geotechnical studies (design, construction and geotechnical investigations for shallow and deep foundations) for a broad range of civil and mining infrastructure projects. These include bridges, railways, elevated viaducts, airport infrastructure, power plants, power transmission towers and wind farms.
Bill has worked on infrastructure projects in Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Fiji, China, South-East Asia, South Asia, West Africa and South America, from offices in Perth, Kuala Lumpur and India.
From Perth, Bill has previously held senior positions with 4DGeotechnics, Coffey Geotechnics, Advanced Geomechanics and SNC Lavalin.
